Receiving love is a practice
A lot of men are comfortable giving. Showing up. Holding space. Doing the work. Protecting. Providing. But when it comes to receiving love, affection, presence, praise, or even softness, something in the body often shuts down.
You might deflect a compliment. You might minimize the way someone tries to care for you. You might pull away when something starts to feel good, because it also starts to feel unfamiliar.
Receiving can feel vulnerable in a different kind of way. It asks you to stay open. To not be in control. To not be the one managing the moment, but allowing yourself to be impacted by it.
This is one of the most powerful shifts you can make in dating. Not just showing up to offer your best, but learning how to let someone meet you. To not block it. To not question it. To not assume it’s too good to last.
If you’ve spent most of your life looking for someone to love you fully, but quietly believing you might not know what to do if they actually did… this is the work.
Receiving is not passive. It is active. It’s a choice to stay open when it would be easier to retreat. It’s a choice to feel the affection, the attention, the energy, and to let it land in your system instead of deflecting it or shutting it down.
You don’t have to earn love over and over again. You are allowed to be loved where you are. And you are allowed to practice what it feels like to let that in.
This is something we move through inside the 30-Day Conscious Dating Challenge.
Every day for 30 days, you’ll receive one grounded prompt, reflection, or practice to help you shift the way you experience connection — starting with how you relate to yourself. Some days it’s a nervous system reset. Some days it’s an emotional check-in. Some days it’s a question that brings you closer to your truth.
And throughout the journey, you’ll start to feel how much easier it is to receive from others when you stop rejecting your own presence.
You’ll also have access to a private portal with all 30 days of content and six months to revisit it all. You can go at your own pace, in your own rhythm.
It’s $29.
30 days.
We Start June 1.
And if you’ve ever said you want love, but felt unsure how to actually hold it, this is the invitation.
Much love and gratitude,
Iryna
